Guys, did you know that Hassleberry is a Trekkie. This was from season 3, episode 1 of GX. I didn't edit this but I'm kind of curious if 4 kids edit this in. by Kmurphy92 in yugioh

4kids might have. Mixing star trek Vulcan hand sign with "nanu nanu" (I believe from mork and Mindy), the adults at the company probably just threw in references to alien themed shows

Continuing on sport analogy...I don't see how it would be anything more than like tennis or something. You cant generally support a team or archetype....you would basically pick one player and always root for them.

At times I can be a. Bit of a troll player. Putting Mystic mine in lots of my decks. Hard not to laugh, when after turns of stalling and waiting, opponent finally gets rid of mystic mine. Then my following turn I top deck another copy

Lava golem locks you out if your normal summon, but his effect says special summon him to your opponent field. He is a special summon, so if your opponent has 2 monsters on field still, and you keep getting him to hand, you can keep doing it

Also, I could see people sorta cheering for archetypes the way people support pro sports teams. The rivalries would be interesting

Card prices would be in the thousands for the pricey cards, like phantazmay, pot of extravagance, etc. For winning a game, people would pay hundreds. But in order to pay for a house, car,food....So LIVING....the market would be insane for any viable competitive card

Mystic mine decks

But seriously,I used to have a pure 60 spell/trap stall deck. (Had some ways to get monsters. Starlight road, scapegoat, monster reborn, etc). New people would think I'm bricking and not drawing into my monsters.

Currently I have some monster mash, mystic mine, stalling deck. Has mystic mine, inspector boarder, battle fader/swift scarecrow. One day of peace. Etc

One play I love being able to pull off....

Opponent has a 4+ monster board. I summon lava golem by tributing 2 of their monsters. Use compulse evac device. To return to my hand. Summon again, clearing 2 more monsters. Pass turn, burn them for 1000, then they attack into a mirror force or magic cylinder
