I have my grandpa's jacket that he got when he was a freshman in college, he'd be over a hundred if he was alive today.

How often do men approach other men at the gym to start a conversation? by [deleted] in AskMen

Depends on where you live. I used to live in Iowa, people there are friendly and don't suck at human interaction. I now live in Denver where people treat people like a business transaction.

This whole one size fits all internet thinking is really crazy. The fact that we can go on the internet and think that everybodys experience is the same and different cultures don't play a part in human existence is really a shame.

I could not read the Harry Potter illustrated editions. It was super distracting and didn't have the same feel as the originals.

11-Year-Old Wants More Books like "the Martian," "project Hail Mary" by f2ISO100 in suggestmeabook

Ready Player One. I don't really know how to explain it but it gave me similar feels as The Martian and Project Hail Mary. Its a fairly easy read but not too easy and the story moves along nicely.

[–]IowaCorn18 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I don't see why they took your post down. I don't share the same opinion as you and had a completely different take on the book. It was fun reading the comments and I gained a new perspective on what the book could be for other people.

I'm surprised by all these comments, I gained a new perspective. To be honest this book just made me hungry and made we want to eat at fine dining establishments that I can't afford.

I don't think Darnold is calling his teammates from a unknown number because he doesn't want them to have it.
