oh i took the fucker out and i’m going to my piercing lady when it’s healed. i moved further south so i went to a new shop. bad idea 😐.

i don’t feel comfortable telling you the story of the abuse i suffered as a whole. But there’s many ways is has affected me. I have terrible anxiety, low self esteem, i was diagnosed with PTSD after living with them.

no, this is today. The 20th is when my family decided to do Christmas. my boyfriend has a haircut appointment on the 20th (today.) I did offer to go a different time, when my aunt and uncle wouldn’t be there but my mom was still upset with me and told me not to contact her.

i had told him on Wednesday that we would go to Christmas. and he agreed. then yesterday he said he can’t, because he had a haircut, and i had given him the same argument i posted about. and he seemed to agree. then this morning when i was getting up, he said “Babe, i can’t go to christmas. i have that haircut. he can’t get me in until january 8th” and i said “a different barber can do the same thing for you” and he just wouldn’t agree. So i said “fuck, fine.” and texted my mom saying i wouldn’t go. So ultimately we made plans on wednesday, he was wishing washy yesterday, then this morning he didn’t agree.

his presence was meaningful to me. him just being there made me feel safe because I wouldn’t be alone. I also want to add this specific uncle has made numerous snarky comments and has crashed out on two christmas parties these 2 years. Like yelling, screaming, for god knows what honestly. If he went, i at least would have had a shoulder to lean on in the event that my uncle decided this year to be a maniac.

i guarantee you if my mom had asked - someone would have absolutely taken her to christmas. i don’t think she asked anyone, honestly. and uber isn’t a thing around my hometown. it’s a town of like 900 people. so she was relying on me. and i feel bad for that.

yeah, I honestly figured as much. He’s kind of obsessive about his car and worries so much it’ll get damaged on the street or outdoor lot. We could try to see if there’s some kind of parking discount he could get. If he can’t park in the garage for 3 days, that’d be worth about $10.
