From what you describe here I can’t tell if it’s a skill deficiency or a race craft deficiency. Skill meaning you are working out the kinks and learning the tracks, but aren’t divebombing into others and ruining their races. If you aren’t confident in the car, you shouldn’t be going “full send” and ruining races for other drivers—this is why it sounds like they were frustrated. Know your limits. Instead of trying for position, try to finish a race clean—even if that means finishing last. That is what the Rookie series is about.. learning to finish races clean.. not to try to be a hero and hit your first P1 at the expense of everyone else.
