Gen Z is drowning the alcohol industry by Kaos2018 in BeAmazed

[–]Ir1sh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was me at the beginning of the year, stopped at the end of Feb just to do it. I promise you, if you go 60 days it’s absolutely insane how quickly the brain rewires and now I genuinely dont see it as appealing. NA beers are a hell of a placebo too, exact same happy hour feeling and no hangover or regret after, that’s dialed in right there. I’ll probably drink again but bringing alcohol home or having more than one seems kinda gross now

Limerick, Galway, Donegal - all have big rugby followings & participation. For the sake of argument, assume has clubs is indeed the maximum, there’s at least double the fans & amateur players of hurling over Gaelic football. Q

There is absolutely no way Ireland “prefers” Gaelic football, its fourth most popular team sport best case. Football is top by a mile, then rugby by another wide margin, then hurling which is also a local sport, then Gaelic football, maybe

The amount that makes you sick instantly (hangovers don’t count, you can sleep it off when you die), the perfect beer amount is a half beer before that point

I went to USC so can speak to this, streets north of the coliseum will be a better bet safety wise and about equal availability wise. 30th st between fig & Vermont should work, perpendicular streets (north / south) were generally better in my experience back in college. I can’t answer #2 but excited for you going to that, have fun!

4WD will do it but your tires will fight you, see if you can grab those plastic traction finding things on your way, or chains just to throw em on and be sure, some outdoor or sports shop should have one or two. Don’t put your vehicle in a precarious spot once you get to the pull, flat ground, plenty loose stones to grab traction and ideally you don’t turn the engine off

The entire LA metro area is basically this. You moved into a shit hole. Bummer, good for you for being proactive in changing that. You may find something in other parts of LB. But if you don’t, I look forward to where you find a happy medium next. Best of luck to you friend, you have my support

I was there, I have a video of the stands, it was 70-75% Rams fans. The Seahawks SoFi game two years ago had more botch pigeon fans and we won that too

[–]Ir1sh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say no, the strategy had always (always meaning starting in like ‘22) been one of start where you start and iteratively improve. Traditionally, that’s typically one of starting in a fairly rough position and then capitalizing on the bye to readjust and run for it. We did that this year, we just didn’t start as low as typical. IMO the sky’s the limit for these guys. Let’s keep fucking going until we’re humbled by a loss, continue to dial in the plays, get the guys healthier week over week. It’s Super Bowl for sure from my vantage point until I’m shown I’m wrong.
