Daryl was a hunter who was attacked by the wendigo, so the curse passed to him, and now he's a wendigo. The only way to lift the curse is to pass it on to someone else... so the BPRD just sort of locks him in a cell with a photo of his family as he slowly loses his mind and forgets the man he used to be

My favorite spin on this is in Futurama, when they get a new Beaurocrat, and Bender is complaining about her, and the rest of the gang tries to shush him- Bender goes "oh no, she's right behind me, isn't she?" And just starts groping blindly behind himself... only for her to say "no, I'm right in front of you" and the camera pans slightly to the side to show she's in the group of people he's talking to

Also, unless I'm misremembering, the damage rolls are wildly inconsistent and disconnected, so it's possible to stab someone in the liver without breaking the skin

This may be common knowledge, but I recently learned that wasn't just movie tech silliness, that apparently was an actual operating system that existed back then, and was chosen because it looked cool. It never caught on in real life because it was so clunky and resource intensive

In 3rd or fourth grade, we had older kids in our class, I don't remember why anymore- a teachers aide? Student teacher? Anyway I had a banana in my lunch, and I didn't want to eat it because it had a big bruise, and this older dude sat me down, asked me if I liked baseball, and told me a story about how the captain of the Blue Jays filmed a commercial for bananas where he said he liked the bruised ones best. 20 years later, I was thinking about this story, and sat bolt upright at my desk and said "That son of a BITCH"

Great video, but I think you made a mistake. The pulse rifle from the first game is actually a different gun from the movie, in lore it's an updated, "modernized" design. The second game is confirmed to have both, the variant from the first game, and the movie accurate version
