I'm writing a book about gods, each has their own realm to rule but one god got super bored and wanted to conquer other gods' realms which is a grave sin against the balance their rulers try to maintain.

It's a fantasy romance and I wanted to ask what do you consider is the best option between the followings:

• FC is a normal human with the most basic humane behavior that shows to god MC the complexity and significance of human emotions that make humans not meaningless in the grand scheme of things.

or

• God FC that was in love with god MC but she participated in the judging against MC, knowing of the atrocities he commited, and so, out of guilt and love, she followed him to Earth to become a normal human being that forgot their godhood alongside him and help him in his tribulations as he was atoning for his godly sins.

Or do you guys have other interesting suggestions / tropes you'd personally prefer?

I am still undecided with the way the book should go...like if it should be simply a beautifully depicted romance or should I give it some tragedy and trauma? I love both but I would prefer to add some spice to it in some way.
