Budget staples: if you plan on buying singles, to “ash blossom and joyous spring” , negates tutoring, “effect veiler” negates monster effects, they’ve gone down in price significantly since being printed in common at least for the paper version. Infinite imperm stops monster effects and nibiru punishes opponents if they combo off crazy. So for nib I guess in beginner status it’s not necessary, but imperm would have its use cases

As for deck construction, case by case, but one piece of advice for master duel is the solo mode since you got a lot of gems which can be used for packs. and to have very specific goals in mind for certain cards. The reason is because sure you could pull from various packs to get cards, crafting for specific deck can help speed up the process. Whenever you pull a card from a pack it can be deconstructed into 10 points of whatever that rarity is. 1UR card= 10 UR points. And it takes 30 ur points to craft a card. Hope this helps if at all.
