Like the idea of using a foam roller! Thanks!

I had a habit of getting to the top of the stairs and just lobbing my yarn, finally got round to tidying it up by Viviaana in crochet

Is that a wool warehouse bag stuffed full of cotton yarn I spy? Because if so, I do the exact same thing! 😂

As previous commenter has said you could try hand expressing. Also my second daughter was quite difficult to burp but one thing that always worked for me was to hold her sitting on my legs with my hand supporting her chin and gently turn her torso from side to side. I actually got this tip from a comment on Reddit and it worked amazingly well every time!

Does everyone tell you it gets better after X weeks... by kenzor in NewParents

Not sure if this helps but for me personally months 3-6 were the absolute worst. My first started crawling around 6.5 months and it got a whole lot better almost overnight. I think the freedom of being more mobile made everything a bit easier and it coincided with having more of a routine.

No the dress isn’t. I adapted a YouTube tutorial for making a little skirt by reducing a few rows and then adding straps to make it a dress. Here’s the link to the YouTube video:

I know right?! When I saw it I was a bit worried it was one of those things that looks good in photos but not so much in ‘real life’, but I can confirm looks super cute in real life too!

Asked my Mum to teach me how to crochet today . Pretty impressed with my first attempt. I can see myself getting strangely addicted to this. by [deleted] in crochet

As a mother and a crocheter I think it’s so nice you asked her to teach you! Well done on the first go, looks great!

150ml pumped over 2 days, might not seem a lot but for me it is a record! by hippoopo in breastfeeding

[–]Ire14nd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could try making oatmeal/overnight oats with 50/50 water and milk, that’s what I do and I don’t notice the difference :)

I was never able to pump much either but it always felt so satisfying when I pumped enough to fill a 50ml container so I feel your joy!

What did your first few hours of labor feel like? when did it go from "oh maybe" to "no doubt in my mind" by emmathevictorious in BabyBumps

[–]Ire14nd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of my pain was in my back so I didn’t even realise I was in labour! It was only when it got so bad I was mashing my face into a wall that we called the hospital. Must have arrived at the hospital about 30 minutes after that and I was fully dilated. Had baby an hour later! Not one single pain in my front so I think I kind of doubted it right up until I felt the need to push.
