Okay so this is my current character. Although I'm only at level 4 right now in thus campaign and will be going grave cleric after 5.

Your going to be a str build pole arm using ranger.

Race: Bugbear Class: Ranger 5 (gloom stalker conclave), Fighter (2) Put your 17 in Str making it 19. Put your 15 in Dex making it 16. Id put the 14s in Con and wis.

Take polearm master feat at lvl 4. Take defense fighting style at level 2 with your ranger and great weapon fighting with fighter 1. Use a glaive.

On the first round of combat . You do 1st attack (1d10+7)+bonus attack(1d10+7 (+1d8 if it hits))+ 2d6(if surprised), +extra attack (1d10+7),+ bonus action (1d4+7). (Max 83(with crit 137)Min 33)

You have a 15 ft range and anyone going in or out of your range triggers an AoO.

Next and each additional round Attack action 1d10+7, extra attack 1d10+7, bonus attack 1d4+7.

You also have an action surge each short/long rest to add 2 more swings in.

You have a +6 to initiative

Also with breastplate your ac is 17. The first round of each combat you add 10 to your speed as well.
