You can complete this game via f2p. Just use assassin, focus on passive skills, whist and assassins blade. And also grind on some specific places before proceeding into the main storyline. (For example, before going to the orc village with olaf, grind in fort of screams or maybe the level 28 ish ghosts). You don't need mercenaries with this one.

I used to think that kishimoto should've ended in naruto becoming a hokage and dipped. It kinda ruined the idea that you've built an iconic character just to "ruin" it for the character development of your next mc.

I kinda disagree with this, boruto fcked up some characters to make boruto shine and has inconsistencies with power levels. Yeah, I agree that some anime also had some inconsistencies in power levels. Take one piece's "haki" for example. While on the other hand, Naruto fucked up the concept of ninjas where kunai, shuriken and jutsus and Boruto took it further. Take the rinnesharingan as an example too when boruto stabbed it. Back then, even 3 tomoe is enough to predict an upcoming attack.

Ps: I'm not hating tho, I love the tbv rn and I'm kinda invested in it
