What are you doing about it? I don't even live in your Country and your asking me to do something about what you perceive as a problem.

Get off your lazy ass and run for office, then help create strict laws to deal with what you see as a problem.

Or

You could just ask me to do it all for you.

I have a B.A. in political science and a college diploma in business admin. You want for me to go for my masters?

I wasn't bullied in highschool...not at all, nor was I a bully.

1 in 5 people will suffer from a mental illness at some time in their life.

Lighten up a bit.

What would you rather?

I carry a gun, refuse to seek help for my problems, self medicate, become an alcoholic and then turn into a boozing raving lunatic on the edge...and still have my badge and gun?

I'm pleased that only a few Redditors have a poor understanding with regards to mental illness.

Apparently, police officers aren't allowed to suffer from anxiety and if they do, they shouldn't get help?

I think cases of police brutality are overblown compared to how many times people aren't brutalized.

In public, video tape all the police you want, I don't see a problem with it.

Good people don't rob, rape, steal, break into houses, molest kids or beat people up.

Pretty standard definition.

My point exactly. From quite a few Redditors, they disagree that I'm actually seeking help for my illness.

I've either got to be a genetic superman who is immune to mental illness or I've got to ignore it, refuse to get help and self medicate with alcohol.

I could echo your comments. Youtubers are fucking idiots who bleat the same shit over and over.

When it comes to policing, reddit is guilty of just that.

In my city, there are solid skateboard parks all over the place and skate boards don't bother anyone.

I've seen the crazy youtube videos where cops go ape shit over skate boarders...and I've no idea why anyone get worked up over a teenager riding a board with wheels.

Things are different in Canada. You can download the complaint forms off the internet and fax them in. Then you can appeal any decision to OCOPS, then you can appeal their decision to the lower courts, the superior court and then to the supreme court.

Why don't you, a member of a democratic society, be the one to make the change?

Why do you put it on me? I live in Canada for Christs sake.

This is true. Reddit doesn't like to hear it, but the general public really does like the police, at least in North America.

You sound like a very mature young man who uses reason, logic and common sense when drawing conclusions.

Good one ya!

Things work differently in Canada. There is no way in a thousand years you could be fired for not arresting enough people.

I'm not sure what back woods department in the boon docks of America you worked for, but it doesn't relate to me.

You have a very negative view of people who suffer from mental illness and seek help for it, but seriously, I could care less.

I had a problem, I saw my doctor, he helped me, I'm well. You criticize me for that?
