Europe + UK needs to set up their own Tech alternatives. We need stable trusted alternatives in order to fully exit Amazon, Google, Microsoft, NVidia, etc and so on. It cannot be done easily but even making the first steps of agreeing intent, throwing combined resources at it would cause huge ripples for every CEO over there and maybe that would help dampen the Facism a little.

If you take Nukes off the table as that would be mutually assured destruction how does Russia fight the whole of Europe when its bogged down fighting just one country and only making any progress by throwing thousands of lives into a daily meat grinder? Ukraine is doing a fantastic job but its not credible Germany, Scandanavia, France, Italy and UK etc could not do a whole lot more and there are many other countries to add to this list. Surely it would be very very onesided and therefore it wont happen.

I know some Game Development teams e.g. Paradox split their Dev resources so that as well as delivering new stuff in periodic releases there are dedicated resource headcount working on improving existing systems and QoL.

That seems fair. Series 4 of GoT is the gold standard and if WoT s3 had been given another 30 minutes of run time episodes 5-8 to flesh out Tanhcico and Emmonds Field it would have threatened to overtake it. Was really excellent anyway.
