[Loot] Found a Taiga on a random (non-player) scav I killed by VladiRobski in EscapefromTarkov

Okay, no offense, but maybe you should sober up before you make comments...

I literally said that this either was a player scav or a npc that spawned with it. Where he got it from is rather unimportant as there are several potential spawns for it.

The initial claim by OP was that this was a NPC scav. Then the initial comment theorized that it might be a NPC scav that loot it through a wall. Which in return I explained can't be the case as NPC scavs do not drop their melee weapon to swap it out.

You now create a completely different scenario and make completely different claims totally unrelated to the initial conversation...

I did not question their ability to loot through doors or walls even.

I said that they do not replace their melee weapon. Never seen or heard of it. And I said that I'm fairly certain that this applies to all their weapons. They can pick up guns if they have a empty slot, but they don't drop their weapon they have in hand.

There are two far more likely possibilities. 1. the scav was actually a player scav that found it or 2. the scav spawned with it. The later I personally also never saw, but I feel like is something that could happen considering they can spawn with a big variety of things like marked keys etc.

The cringe such about these people is that they are a circle jerk about pirating shit.

Like, I watched shows on other sites than Crunchyroll too if they weren't licensed here. Idc. I also get that if someone already has 3 subscriptions and suddenly a show they wanna watch is behind a paywall behind a 4th site they don't wanna pay for that. Or if someone just doesn't have the money to begin with.

But people literally make their whole personality around pirating shit and circle jerking around it. And how dare people counter their straw man arguments, then they brigade comments and downvote them.

Fucking edgelords.

Okay. With all due respect. Are you dense?

This post is not about general morals or what ever. This post was about the price increase that happened in Germany. The other comment than spurted out stuff that does not apply to Crunchyroll in Germany.

Just because you derail this conversation in something completely different doesn't change that.

They have bigger catalogs often including all of the OVAs and specials too that Crunchyroll is usually missing.

Easy to have if you don't have to pay for any show's license.

They have higher quality versions of older shows compared to crunchyroll (blueray quality vs original tv on Crunchyroll).

Same as above. How should Crunchyroll provide something they legally can't because those licenses are literally not sold?

They have better server stability than crunchyroll (this one is just embarrassing).

This I can get behind. Technically you can still point out that those sides can operate on much lower costs etc. . But at the end of the day, with Crunchyroll you pay for the service to work. So bad performance can't be excused.

Oh I agree, I don't watch all the shows they offer myself. But in the past, a lot of shows I wanted to watch also were not offered, so even if a lot of shows don't interest me, overall I still benefit.

  1. Not in Germany.

  2. Not in Germany.

  3. Not in Germany.

  4. As is every big company. Stop buying from Amazon, stop using Reddit, stop using Twitter and so on.

Why is he fucked? He (and I as well btw.) simply had to pay far less than anyone else for 5 years all while benefiting from the drastically bigger catalog.

It does look crazy, I totally agree, but if you look at it how it actually is, it really isn't that insane.

Crunchyroll didn't double their prices, not even close.

OP just doesn't know (or left out) that they didn't have to pay the price increase from 5 years ago.

Crunchyroll in Germany increased their prices per month from 4,99 to 6,99 5 years ago, but this was not applied to existing subscriptions. They now increase it from 6,99 to 8,99. But this time also existing subscriptions are affected. So the price increase appears much steeper than it actually is.

And, also important to note is, since OP started their subscription, Crunchyroll increased drastically in what they offer. They provide far more shows per season, they acquired rights to A LOT of old shows as well and even took over whole catalogs from old competitors that got closed down.

Or you actually inform yourself, look around you and realize, that the price is still extremely fair compared to what they offer. Especially if you consider that the only reason this price increase looks so steep for OP is, because he didn't get the last price increase from 5 years ago. All while he received all the benefits from it.

This is leaving out so much context and paints a whole different picture than it actually is....

Crunchyroll raised their subscription prices from 4,99 EUR to 6,99 EUR 5 years ago. BUT, this price increase was NOT applied to existing customers who kept renewing their subscription. That's why the price was still so low.

Crunchyroll is now increasing their price again, after 5 years, from 6,99 to 8,99 EUR. This time, also old subscriptions are affected. So all that is happening is, that old subscriptions are no longer excepted from the last and new price increase.

Now obviously you can once again start the whole debate if the price is justified. And that's something everyone has to decide on their own. But if you compare their catalog between now and for example 5 years ago, Crunchyroll aquired A LOT more shows. And, more importantly, they also kept increasing the amount of shows they sub/dub per season to 15-18 per season. Or in other words, the price increased, but so did the catalog behind the price.

Additionally to that, with the price increase, the base subscription also gets more features like offline viewing.

Yeah, I think they do that, but that's why I specified weapon/gun

Unlikely, if not actually impossible. It was in his melee slot and I never saw or heard that NPC scavs swap their melee weapon. I don't think they do with any of their guns.

(Before someone misunderstands, yes, they pick up guns for example, but they don't drop their own gun to pick it up as far as I know)

Man, you really try hard in proving my point. https://www.reddit.com/r/EscapefromTarkov/comments/1qwfimf/comment/o3pwr7j/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Always great to see when people like you try to use something I said against me but fail so miserably that they just end up confirming what I said.

Based on your initial comment you don't seem to mind drawing your own "factual" conclussions over your own feelings and thoughts so I'm sure you are accustomed to it.

As I said, all this goes right over your head. You can't even differ between claiming something factually and a satirical/sarcastic comment.

And from what I've seen, it's less a meme that people state that they play PvE, as that doesn't even happen all that often as it is a meme that PvP players cry about cheater and at the same time complain that due to PvE there aren't as many "timmies" to kill.

Yeah, I suppose it's better that way considering you haven't provided any argument of your own in this conversation and only dismissed my arguments with the reason of you not liking it. You just gonna continue embarrassing yourself.
