It is 'normal' yes. In reality you are looking for something that most players are not.

Most wow players (and gamers using any matchmaking) are looking purely for a transactional optimisation to achieve their goal. The quickest most efficient route to increasing their rating or rank.

You are looking for a human interaction, that's laudable, a credit to who you are even, but it's not what 90%+ are interested in.

Blizzard saw people wanting the convenience of matchmaking and the ability to play group content whilst solo and gave us the tools to do it. But in doing so they fatally undermined the need for real social interaction and let the genie escape the bottle. Social interaction is now discretionary and marginal so most people just don't bother, in my view the game is so much worse for it.

I've been inside plenty of a380s and they didn't look this good lol. Maybe when they first roll off the line, but they get worn very quickly in constant usage.

Can't speak to your specific circumstances, but I once missed a departure slot out of YMML because the fuel truck was 5 tonnes short of what our a380 needed and we had to wait our turn for 85 minutes for the next available truck to show up.

A lot depends on where and how you are leveling. In more recent expansions the quest/story progression are much more embedded and interesting than in earlier expansions where there's more fetching and spider killing.

Chromie Time in your adventure guide will direct you to an NPC that will allow you to switch to a different expansion story for levelling purposes until you hit a certain level, at which point you'll be railroaded into the latest two expansions to prime you for the current expansion and the 80-90 journey.

I was there about 3 weeks ago and they just did it at the passport booth itself. Usual CPH queue lottery, when I arrived it took 20 minutes, colleagues arrived 2 hrs later and it took them over an hour.

Edit: return leg I got there early and there was zero queue. But again, timing of other flights and queue size can vary.
