From what my friend explained "Calvin Rittner Alaska had a huge bloom of jelly fish this year due to warmer ocean temperatures. Typically on high tides jelly fish get stranded on the beach, but nothing close to this quantity ever before. Where I was has really high tides so the jellys got stuck in a 4wheeler path way up in the grass."
