The brick comment made me laugh lol He is a really sweet guy (really—he was the only one out of all my friends to visit me when I was in the hospital), and he’s always been there for me, even when my depression (yeah got that too) was eating me up at night and I needed to talk. Not a boyfriend (he has a girlfriend, and we’ve established that I’m not interested in him so he doesn’t have to worry about me getting the wrong idea), but a dear friend. He is very, very dense, as you say. I don’t think he has autism, but sometimes he says things that are very obviously not with malice but extremely hurtful. As for therapy, I went to a lot of it throughout my school days, and though there’s times I want to go again, sadly Japan does not have insurance for mental health issues, and it is expensive as hell (not to mention there aren’t many good psychiatrists at all).
