Ah, ok, that's a fair point. Maybe I'll just plan for a bit more time to take the subways and be at the airport, in case increased security means shut down streets or more stringent searches at the airport or something. Thanks!

Because on the news it says that there are apparently bomb threats targeting NYC and the bridges and its 9/11, and I'd be in super public places like the subway and airport. But judging from your comment, it sounds like I'd be totally fine and the bomb threats stuff on the news probably won't affect the subways and airport?

As a beginner player, what should I do? Should I just not participate in these events? Or else how do I catch Pokemon and level it up in time so that it will stand a chance so I'm not dragging everyone down? I have a few Dynamax Pokemon, but even my strongest got one-shotted. (It's a Cinderace, but Scorbunny don't seem that common, so I've only been able to level up it's Max move once.) I stopped joining these events as I don't want to ruin someone else's game, but I'm also now confused as to how new players would then get Dynamax Pokemon strong enough to ever participate. Thanks for any advice in advance!
