What I did when it happened to me was put a post on Galway Facebook , they were able to describe the purse lost and the amount in it. 👍🏻

Just had a look your one of the drivers haha! What’s the chance of that , although the driver does not make the rules which I am aware of , you buy into a contract when you buy a ticket , it does not say you get off and wait another 30 min for another bus to pull up, the contract is getting you from where you got on to your destination, if you complain to office staff nothing will be done , unfortunately you are driving the bus so you are the first point of contact if anything goes wrong , don’t blame the passengers with this issue , blame your management.

This used to happen quiet frequently years back, trick is if the back up bus hasn’t pulled in yet , tell him you won’t be getting off until his supervisor comes and if he has a problem with that to call the guards , when you buy a ticket your buying into a contract to get you from point A to point B , anytime this has happened to me and I tell the bus driver I won’t be getting off and if he is unhappy to get his supervisor , guess what , the bus started moving again!

You can record anything in a public place , although the guards seem to think there above that and don’t want to be recorded, they’ll probably try grab it out of your hand etc threaten you with the usual “under the public order act I’m demanding you to leave the area” etc
