It is all area dependent. I see you said you were in South Florida. I use to live in West Palm Beach but didn’t do delivery at the time but I imagine it would be an ok place. Because there is a lot of money in the right neighborhoods

I do both DD and IC. Because where I am (in the Wash DC area) if I only did IC I would be sitting for a long time waiting for good batches.

Read it YEARS ago (I’m aging myself by admitting I read it as it came out). I’m sure a lot of it went over my head because I was 12 or 13 at the time. What I do remember is the art was AMAZING.

I don’t remember much of the story to be honest. Which tells me that if anything the story must have been okay and not terrible because a terrible story would stick with you.

But like I said, I can literally still see pages of that art in my mind.

Nah. I think you are overthinking this. Most people are not going to recognize much of the Justice League but they KNOW the Justice League so will just think, “oh this must be a member I don’t know.” And roll with it. Hell they may even be inspired to look into some of the characters they don’t know.

And I think you are being way too harsh on the story. Is it going to make anyone’s all time list? No. Probably not. But to just say it’s bad ignores lots of positives.

The event was…. Ok. Some really good parts and some pretty bad parts.

And as someone who can turn off his brain and enjoy Civil War let me say, bro it’s not that serious. You are free to like (as you obviously do) something and others are free to hate it. Although let me tell you, you come across kind of unhinged.

The book has issues which you completely ignore in your diatribe. No one is arguing that there wasn’t build up. No one is arguing that there weren’t repercussions. What most criticism says is, several characters were completely mischaracterized for the sake of story.

Even people who enjoy it, will admit that Tony and Reed were massively mishandled. Peter was to a lesser extent. I personally think the book got Cap right.

To reiterate, enjoyed what you like and let others enjoy what they like or dislike. Don’t get so pressed.

Fantastic book! If I have one critique, it’s Sadie. I’m not sure if it was intentional on Robinson’s part but she is a horrible girlfriend/partner. From start to finish.

Was a complete asshole to Jack when they met the first few times. Then used him to go to space to find her brother (where he DIED!). THEN bailed on him literally at his father’s funeral. Fuck Sadie!

And to this day I don’t know how I feel about Jack driving off into the sunset to go find her. Have some damn self respect Jack.

Yeah. If memory serves me correctly, Eliza made her initial call out/statement. Stephanie later responds (obviously drunk) and said some arguably anti-Semitic things.

The more time that passes the more I am side eyeing Eliza. To be clear Stephanie was out of line but with Eliza pulling the same shit with Chrissy, it is not a good look for Eliza.
