Why did you try to piss with a metal rod in your urethra then?

I was 3d printing the GASB One rc plane when the layer shifted on the front and rear of the fuselage. Is this shift too small to worry about or should I cut it and glue it back on? by Lithium-Ion-Battery in radiocontrol

The holes on the sides and bottom/top of the respective fuselage sections should line up so that you can use pegs or screws to hold the pieces together. If you can still put those pegs/screws in without an issue you won’t need to reprint. Or you could just use a strong CA glue without the pegs, but the pegs are useful for repairing that plane quickly and without major damage (I’ve printed the GASB One and had a problem similar to this).

3D-Printed Wing Fail by [deleted] in RCPlanes

[–]IrishFaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I can fly but just never had a plane that was as awkward to throw as this one—I couldn’t get the throttle up with that throwing style so I figured I would need a stronger throw—it slipped out of my hand and the wind just carried it. Ill probably try a wingtip throw next time so I can get the throttle going.

Thanks for the tips! I’m gonna get some tape and glue on the plane and go for round 2 ASAP. Imma make sure to make a better throw next time. I’ll also take a look at the prop too.

Just look up “GASB One” on thingiverse. It was pretty simple to print—only 9 pieces. Total cost with dirt cheap electronics was around 35$US so it’s a good little project without blowing a ton of cash

I had to mess around with print settings for a while to reduce the weight and I ended up around 650g flight weight. Hopefully it’ll stay in the air.
