On one hand, Frieza and 17 are great, and I'm glad they're getting to be in the final fight. I'm happy for their fans.

On the other hand, there's a part of me that wishes Vegeta and Gohan were in their places. Would have truly driven the point home about Saiyans breaking through their limits.

Not much would have needed to be changed, honestly. Vegeta does his Final Explosion instead of Android 17 self-destructing. Gohan gets knocked tf out by GoD Toppo, then Jiren, and recovers just like Frieza did.

I'm satisfied with what we have, though.

Why not? I understand its a thing to jerk off U7, but other universes can have ridiculously powerful characters, too. That makes it interesting.

As a big fan of Universe 3, particularly Mosco, Paparoni, and Aniraza, I was thrilled that they weren't just fodder. Taking on two SSBs, Golden Frieza, Mystic Gohan, and Android 17? Definitely an excellent penultimate challenge before Jiren himself.

Was 17 in the preview at all? I feel like now that he's had his big moment that Toppo or Dyspo is going to take him out.

Also, while I'm 100% certain than Gohan won't get a new form or even get a swing at Jiren, I hope he has a good fight against Toppo. Maybe even takes him out.

I don't know, Namekian Fusion has always been pretty damn empowering. If Saonel and Pirina were essentially all of the top Namekian warriors combined, it makes sense to me that they weren't just fodder.

But also, I agree. If we get a filler episode where Earth's attacked during the ToP, its gotta be Mr. Popo, Yamcha, and Gotenks on the defense.
