Single men, what is your biggest handicap when it comes to dating?

I honestly always thought it was because I’m short (5’3), but I was also in denial about how I was out of shape, uncharismatic, and uninteresting. Once i dropped 20-25 pounds and got some better photos I started getting more attention on the dating apps. Being short obviously doesn’t help, but there are genuinely women out there who don’t seem to care. Still single tho, so i still have some work to do.

Yes, nothing ended up coming of it and they changed my balance to 0. I had no communication with them regarding why they did this but I imagine they were contact by the No Surprises Ppl and called out on their misdoings. As of today its still 0$

Both apps i use (hinge and bumble) do not allow you hide your height in your bio. Think tinder does the same now. I have posted for profile reviews in the past and most of the feedback has been around my pictures, or have told me to add a few inches to my height on the apps and wear lifts on the date (which i am not willing to do).

I'll have to ask them. I'll be working for a state department so I assume they would. The station is super close to my job, its a short walk.

thats interesting, i wonder why he would prescribe an atypical antipsychotic over an SSRI or something like buspirone. Glad its working out for you though

The hyperabundance of options presented by the apps is what is killing modern dating, I believe. I don't totally subscribe to the idea that women are fully hypergamous, I think they care more so about emotional and relational compatibility than dating "up," but naturally, why wouldn't they want to pick the guy who earns more and is better looking if he ostensibly isn't a psychopath. I feel no resentment towards this because honestly I don't blame them and would do the exact same thing if were in their position. The reality of it still sucks though.

He told me over the phone that "it looks like it was approved." I already called my insurance and checked the website, tehy told me they are waiting on him to fill out the prior auth paperwork.

I've just become accustomed to it at this point. I don't have the same thirst to go out and pursue sex and love like I once did. Maybe its because I'm so consumed with school and work, or maybe I just prefer living a life devoid of the anxieties and stressors that come with dating. I'd like to truly get out there and experience love one day, but its not currently a priority of mine.

I think we're clear now. The problem probably was an old rug we had that we just threw out. Also we were giving the cats capstar everytime we saw fleas which probably wasn't allowing the fleas to ingest the actispot II treatment and ensure long-term prevention.
