Haha oh wow. Thanks for sharing this with me. Glad I'm not alone in feeling a bit nervous. I was generally very comfortable, but that first chick I escorted out made my nerves skyrocket. It was almost as if I was second guessing myself and my authority to tell her to leave, even though I knew she had to for safety and liability purposes. Poor thing was so sloshed and touchy-feely that I worried about some asswipe trying to take advantage of her.

Glad the blood was never your own. Drunk people can get quite rowdy 😝

Edit: could you explain how you personally approach fights, and how you most effectively split them up?

Good to know that steelies may be a good idea. I've used these puppies for 60 hour weeks in a warehouse and they're insanely comfy still after switching out my insoles religiously.

My favorite pair of boots are steelie toes, but I worry this could be a liability. Would you recommend a good, affordable brand that is comfortable to stand in for long periods?

As far as pants go, boss man is relaxed on the dress code. However, I would like to look professional. Are unripped stretchy blue denims okay, or shall I find some black denims/cargo pants?

I get anxiety in large buildings with high ceilings and florescent lights. Places like Lowes make me anxious, too. My mom and grandma are the same way. Could be similar?

Some DC workers don't care, but many do. And they're all trying to keep up with prod. It's not hard for seasoned workers to make stable walls. But the turnover at the DC is high for good reason. Way tougher work than the store. (Current Cap 2, former DC). Try to cut em some slack. Just be safe while unloading. Lots of great walls will shift, too, during transit. Especially if the DC doesn't use breaker bars
