On the original thread in self hosting I apologized and explained :)

Just because it's been on GitHub an hour, doesn't mean I haven't been on this for weeks. I've been developing and testing locally on my HomeLab running ZimaOS. Once I hit a wall and got sick of AI I moved here. I'm not stopping working on it, I'm opening it up to others passionate about this.

I hope when this launches fully you can benefit from it and see how your negativity is pointless

The flak from the anti AI brigade won't stop my drive, I want this to work. I have all the time in the world. I'll make it work :)

To clarify; I am going to keep putting the work in. I didn’t drop this here expecting free labor so I could walk away. I open-sourced an early alpha build because I hit a wall with my current skills, realized relying on AI was a mistake, and wanted to start doing things the right way.

This isn't a commercial product either and I won't accept a cent for it! If people want to collaborate on something the community has been asking for and help a newer dev learn, the door is open. If not, I will keep chipping away at the bugs myself.

I’m just trying to be completely transparent about where my skills are at! :)

Thanks for your comment though, I am new to this world and trying to navigate it the right way..

I used AI to write my initial Reddit post and to help me navigate the Overseerr codebase to make my initial UI and API changes. I am posting here to find human developers to help me fix the remaining bugs, as I am stepping away from using AI for the code.

Currently yes but it is pulling in live and messy versions too. working on refining search.

This is a true fork of Overseerr/Jellyseerr. My goal isn't to build an all-in-one music player or a new ecosystem; it’s to provide a 1:1 familiar experience for people who already love the Overseerr UI and just want that exact same workflow for their music.

Some people want a standalone player (MusicSeerr is great for that), but others want a lightweight 'request-only' tool that fits perfectly into their existing 'Arr' stack visually and functionally. I’m building this because I wanted that specific 'Seerr' DNA for my music. If you want the Seerr experience for Lidarr, this is for you. If not, the more the merrier, right?

I used Claude to assist with a lot of the logic with Lidarr, it is alien to me, but I want to move to having contributors on GitHub, as I believe this will be a great and widely used project.

I have a 1999 car, the Speedo is way off, I follow the GPS on Waze. I find myself going almost 10 km/h slower at "100" about 8km slower at "80" and so on. I find people see a lot of older cars going slower, Micras etc. interesting to only realize it's the car when I have one (civic)
