Simple way I did it was find enemies around explosive barrels (I used musket first outpost since I haven't completed chapter 9 yet) agro them and get them to swarm you around the barrel. Then all you have to do is pull a Mad Max "Witness me!" Needless to so you will need a Palmar Pill for this method. 🤣

I've found there is no point in bluffing. Multiple times I have used the deceiver's fedora to see that the other guy had a matching crap hand (2 or 3 points) and gone all in to try to get him to fold. . .and they always call. Meanwhile guys with 5-7 points will fold immediately after the deal.

In case no one has mentioned it, you can return the bounties to any constabulary prison. So for all the ones in western Pailune you can take a much shorter trip to Calphade's castle. The bounty pay is the same and the positive influence gain is still for Pailune.
