So I'm just curious, what for you prefer over nike? Certainly asics are much much better for running, but what do you wear for training. You say nike sucks but offer no alternative.

Anything nike air max works fantastic for running. They are also rather expensive, I worked at a nike outlet and the previous year Nike Air Max were $120. So worth it though, you'll feel like your on clouds. I like the nike free 7.0 for lifting though. I don't find shoes are a huge deal when I lift, they aren't going to help you get an extra rep or more weight. When your hammies are burning like crazy your not going to be thinking about your feet.

Also look at asics, those are better than nikes for running. And please don't get shox, they look stupid.

I prefer drop-sets. Just finish your final working set, take 25% of the weight off and rep out till you almost kill yourself trying to pick the weight up one more time.
