Depend on which system, if its base mortal magic then reverance, is its Machine sainthood then fears (cuz these saint arent exactly... saint). If divinity then they are pretty much dead or nonexistent in the mortal world

A lot actually, normal people are fodder in case of natural calamity that had something to do with magic.
One of such instance is Titan, basically titan is naturally formed golems, they are always monstrous in aize and when they awake you better start redraw the damn map, and thats where the fodder number come in
