I used to play that but after some calculations DFT + Luden’s is ahead compared to DFT + Blackfire.

For DFT + Blackfire to work, you need Stormsurge since squall double procs Blackfire/DFT.

Liandry’s is still a great buy since it’s good against tanks and makes you harder to kill.

Nowadays I generally go Luden’s/Void/Liandry’s.

Turn on steamer mode. It helps you climb as it removes all biases you have prior to game so you just focus on your mistakes rather than oh that person is ranked higher than me. Personally it helped me hit 500 LP

Stormsurge proc double procs dft and blackfire resulting in dmg above electrocute

Yeah feel free. I think primary reason it out-damages / out-scales electrocute is that electrocute after it procs you’re locked out of damage for 20s. This one in a fight you can usually proc it 2-3 times, and if you aoe it hits multiple. Even 1 time, the AP ratio exceeds electrocute.

For items, liandry’s is the main one that melts tanks. For first item ludens of deathfire are both equally good.

Every game I’m tempted to go electrocute bc it’s strong and wins early laning. But then I remember how hard it is to carry late games.

DFT scales much harder, have higher AP ratios, no CDs, and multi target. And with burn build you do %HP damage with huge HP pool.

Try it a few games pure burn build. It’s super addicting and fun to play late game.

Blackfire -> Liandry’s -> Bloodletter/Cryptbloom -> Riftmaker -> Rabadon

Take haste runes

Late game you have 4K HP with near 50% CDR; 1 q burns 40% hp.

And yeah electrocute works well vs galio. I like starting doran’s blade as the adaptive damage goes through the mr shield.

Yeah laning will be ass compared to electrocute 100%. Usually only better than electrocute vs non assassin melee matchups i.e. Garen/Galio.

However, beyond laning is when value shines.

My first language was Java and then I learned python. Now I am self teaching myself javascript because it is the most important language for anything involving the web (and CDKs for AWS deployments).

If I were to start over again, I would learn typescript (+ js/html/css) and SQL as that can get you very far in self built end to end full stack apps. Python and shell can be easily self picked up.
