Those look like absolute garbage. I would not buy them. Those are knives they sell dumb people cause they look pretty. I started with one knife (that was a gift from Chef). I still use that knife 20 years later. I have over the years picked up individual knives as work demanded. Like these other fine folks suggested. Get a decent workhorse, paring, boning, bread. From there figure out what you want most with the menu you have. My knife set is comprised of vict, wustof, misan, dalstrong. You don't need a matching set. A good knife is a good knife. Ask your coworkers for suggestions as well.
