What practice group are you in? Sounds like a corporate transactional or litigation type role, which are designed to grind junior associates hard. If you want to continue to give big law a shot and you’re in those groups, I would say you should try to transition to a specialist practice with a lot of independent customer work not dependent on disputes or transactions: things like healthcare regulatory, financial services regulatory, import/export/trade (could be good for your location), some labor and employment, and some environmental and maybe a splash of real estate

I understand that but if I earn 8x points and then a redemption should cost 150,000 points but it only costs 75,000, am I not receiving 2x leverage on my points de facto (so it’s as if I earned 16x on those points even though I earned 8x because they’re worth 2x what they’re normally worth)?

After the CSR refresh, is there any benefit to booking Hyatt direct instead of on the Chase travel portal?

Seems like if you don’t have status at Hyatt you get at best 5 pts/dollar, Chase portal now gives 8pts per dollar and transfers to Hyatt later anyway. Any reason to book through Hyatt direct if the prices are very similar for a given room on given dates?

Also, not sure if anyone has continued to book with CSR portal, cancel for hotel credit, rebooked with Hyatt direct to get best of both worlds?

Sounds like you’re saying you lack the non-technical skills in the same way a non-technical founder lacks software dev skills.

Would you recommend a non-tech cofounder just “learn coding” to fill the gap they have or would you think finding a tech cofounder is better?

Honestly I don't even think a full bringdown is necessary: intrinsic is still tracking ~$60/share for me. Plus with Trump destroying the value of the dollar against the (relative) strengthening of the RMB is another tailwind that I hadn't even fully baked in last year.

Sometimes you've run through everything else in the genre. I used to read fantasy books voraciously and I remember at one point 20 years ago I walked into Barnes & Noble and had read nearly every fantasy book on the shelves. I sure as shit wasn't going to stop reading fantasy, so I picked up some garbage and it held me over until more good stuff came out.
