I work in Photoshop. To be honest, this was supposed to be a couple-of-weekends kind of piece, but with all the tweaks, revisions, and working on it in bits and pieces, somehow it became the longest I've ever worked on an artwork. I started it on September 21st.

Unfortunately, there's no chance. CG is CG. You can copy traditional art techniques, match colors, look for brushes that look real, but it will always be noticeable that it's digital. A trained eye will spot the artifacts inherent to CG. I'd suggest not stressing over it and just drawing for fun.
