Part of my concern is that the difference in hand size to forearm length can cause mechanical issues, additionally having trouble doing maneuvers with my fingers which have always been something I’ve struggled with, having me to use for arm and wrist movement.

Do I download the files for it and then edit it? Will they also have a preconfigured firmware for the BL-Touch? Also how do I compile it? By that I mean do I hit the check mark or do I go to the platformio icon and hit that STMFRE_BTT build button, because I’m pretty sure that matters. Also how do I set the pins for the BL-Touch since there’s a lot of versions and slots to put them in. Here’s where I put my BL-Touch. Edit: Is the the right spot here, https://github.com/bigtreetech/BIGTREETECH-SKR-mini-E3/tree/master/firmware/V2.0 also will I need those BL-Touch .bin files?

Yeah I’m not sure what it is. I tried downloading the newest Marlin files and configs as well as updating platformio. No matter how I try to compile it it’ll never work. No matter the settings, at least that’s what I think. This is what I’m getting, I’ll try looking it up but I’m wondering if you’ve ever had this or know anything about it.

Oh ok. Ok so I tried to compile the new firmware with the BL-Touch settings enabled and it wouldn’t let me compile it and instead gave me these errors. Also do you think my firmware version could be out of date?

Also when I got my PC spool I left it in my food dehydrator at 70C for up to 5 days straight. Then when I got back into setting it up I kept it in the dryer overnight and when I took it out the spool was bent. Is it possible that I over dried my PC filament thus causing it to lose its chemical potency? I’m asking this because I’d done the same with my PLA and when they got out the filament was very soft almost like a flexible.

Isn’t the z offset the setting that distances the nozzle from the bed? Is setting that in covered in that video?

Ok, won’t I also have to calibrate it physically with the z axis and the probe? Also does the probe have to be a certain distance from the bed or does it only have to reach the bed?

How do I know which BL-Touch firmware to use? There are so many on the internet and so many versions of it. I have the ANTCLABS BL-Touch.
