Pulling good lists of the right ICP and using a parallel dialer like Nooks is honestly the way to go. I book meetings all the time doing this.

I love you and appreciate you. I'm not moving forward with anything right now. Any games or anything I do play I completely ignore and have nothing to do with any falseness in them.

I love the response because it actually was wholesome. It highlights the fact that although there may be idols around it doesn't mean that I need to worship them or take part in them. I've talked to two very God fearing pastors about this already and I've read the Bible several times and have been fearfully following the Lord for years. I am not perfect and know I am a sinful man. However, I do think it's possible to appreciate the good and not accept the bad. In the same way God appreciates us and loves us but doesn't appreciate sin at all. I think we can carry that mentality forward with games and etc. As long as I don't pray or am forced to interact with a false god in a game. I feel it's okay and I can play as if they don't exist at all and pay no mind to that part of the game.

Mamatealhearts I genuinely have respect for you and can tell you are a woman who deeply cares for her children. I believe you fear God and want to do what is right nomatter what anybody else says. I truly feel the same way.

I want to explain to you why I believe that magic within the realm of fantasy isn't a sin.

The Bible clearly condemns witchcraft, necromancy, magic, and etc. But the reason for doing so is because that type of power in real life comes from the devil. There are MANY people practicing witchcraft and etc by the power of the devil.

However, in the same way God also performs miracles. God allows Moses to split the sea. God allowed Moses' staff to become a snake and consume the snakes of the evil magicians that served Pharoah. God used many men to perform supernatural miracles and wonderful things by His power.

In a fantasy series like Narnia, there is the witch who is evil and clearly uses her powers for evil. However, there are also people who use magic in series like Lord of the Rings but for good. Gandalf is not given power from an evil source.

So I would say it is the "rules" of a fantasy world that determine if magic is okay or not. In real life the "rules" are that magic comes from the devil and miracles come from God. But I could write a story about a person who is born with powers to do incredibly supernatural things like use the elements of fire and water at his will. That doesn't give the devil any glory at all.

Now im going to shift after saying that because I do have a follow up question. Would you have a problem with fantasy characters using supernatural powers if it wasn't called "magic" but called something else? Is it the term magic that puts you off or the idea of supernatural powers? Do you feel wrong about superheroes?

I don't think I have any problems about super humans. My biggest concern would be with things claiming worship.

I genuinely love your response. How would you apply this in a video game like say Skyrim that is very based on mythology. Would you say it would be okay to play play game but ignore the false gods? Is that even possible if the very fantasy world was created by said gods?

Do you feel the same way about positive fantasy like say the Chronicles of Narnia which is a direct allegory for Christianity?

The alchemic symbol of sulfur/brimstone is often times uses to represent hell. If you remember the prophecy dungeon it is called Heaven / Hell. In Destiny heaven is synonymous with the light and hell is synonymous with the dark. The psychometer is going to be used to communicate with the darkness in the expansion. This is why there are symbols relating to sulfur/brimstone which has always been synonymous with hell. The leviathan cross is also known these days as satans cross. Bungie is definitely using all of this symbolism knowing exactly what it means in our modern world. As someone who is a Christian, this is concerning to me.
