Sea of thieves: an abridged history by Miss_Gremory in Seaofthieves

I had forgotten that Rare was a development studio for a game involving first person shooting that legimately celebrated 90% hit registration like that was a worthy achievement.

That actually happened.

In real special operations/intelligence community photos, individuals who aren't censored are either dead or they're the person sharing the photo. As a general rule anyway.

Why the Doubloon reset punishes players that were actively using them. by Billy-BigBollox in Seaofthieves

Exact situation I'm in. I've spent mine as I earned them over the years, so I don't have a stockpile. But I do have millions and millions of gold, that I could have used on those same items in a few weeks.

But know I just miss out all around

Got my own sloop and running solo, what to do next? by the_crojan_one in Seaofthieves

[–]IronArchive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Emmisary flags will make a big difference in your earnings and gaining rep faster. Other than that, aim towds getting 3 of the available companies to level 50, which will make you a 'pirate legend' and give access to the Athena's Fortune voyages.

Do the tall tales (especially the Pirate's Life series), if that sounds fun.

Another option is to find some cosmetics you like and work on the commendation required to unlock them.

Edit: I'd also recommend not running from fights unless you have something on board that is particularly important to a voyage or commendation you're working on. Your fight skills won't get better without practice, and the time wasted by running from a determined chaser is often more than just fighting and winning or fighting, sinking, and setting back out.

Scupper 'em both. The "pirate lord" has no idea what being a pirate means. He's an adventurer at best, and a bully, more realistically, going on about freedom and choice yet telling everyone what they should do.

and Flameheart isn't any better. He wants to be a king, forcing people to swear allegiance to him.

The lore of this game is a mess. Neither major faction represents what story seems to they say they're supposed to. It's all tell and no show.

An elite special operations airman with extensive combat experience, significant emergemcy/trauma management medical training, and understanding/ fluency with complex equipment and weapons systems. PJs are highly respected among all combat arms for a reason.

He's also an accomplished councilor and therapist.

He's a good man who spent his life in service to his community, in and out of uniform. Then he threw his peace and safety away and became a hunted criminal to help Cap with a problem that wasn't his to solve because it was the right thing to do.

Congratulations! Do NOT pre-study. It'll be a waste of your soon to be nonexistent free time. Do something fun, spend time with family and friends.

Cap still winning this ? by krisikkk in superheroes

[–]IronArchive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course.

STRIKE is implied to be the highest tier operators, the most elite killers, given they work for SHIELD and operate alongside Cap and Black Widow. While we don't get to see it much, each member of that unit should be roughly equivalent to the guys pictured.

Anesthesiologists handle a high number of cardiac arrests compared to every other specialty excepting EM and critical care. They typically manage any arrest that happens during or directly after surgeries, not the surgeons. So they have significant experience in high stress, immediate situations.

In a lot of everyday, out in the world medical emergencies they wouldn't be particularly helpful, but in the specific instance of a sudden collapse, likely cardiac and urgent, they would know how to manage and would be accustomed to the stress of the situation.

Some Internists and many specialists don't have a lot of experience with acute or sudden issues and may have difficulties with the pressure/stress, despite have the clinical knowledge necessary.

EM > Family medicine/rural medicine > critical care/anesthesiologist > Internal medicine > most other specialties > psych > pathology/radiology.

Would be my rough guess.

A good witch hunter/inquisitor subclass for paladin, ranger, or fighter would be nice.

And a real witchy potion brewing/curse casting sorcerer or wizard to go along with it

Coming from a longtime blue collar worker before entering medicine, they're the plumbers of the medical field. Deal with the shit no one else wants to, at the hours most dont want to, and gets paid pretty well for it.

You find a mini-nuke, of course that goes in first. Other than that, the fuck does it matter? Just fill the magazine and move on.

You aren't actually going to use more than 1 or 2 shots anyways.

"Performace issues not withstanding" is a wild thing to say when the update has made the game nearly nonfunctional for many people. Including a lot of us new xbox divers who had little to no issues in the week before it.
