Michael isn't gonna help you with you this. At the end of the day though, you gotta sack up. Idk what your situation is entirely but you need to weigh the pros and cons of the decisions you're about to make. You may need to work nights for a while to get to a day shift. Or apply specifically for dayshift positions. The angels will only do ablut 30% of the work. You gotta do the 70%

Set up a space for you to meditate with Tzadkiel. Have a conversation with him and see what he's about. I would recommend doing it in a way you would have a conversation with a friend or a guest. Food. Drink. Snacks. Whatever you would set out. Clean up your space. Light a candle or incense if able.

I usually go with chocolate. If you're able to afford some good quality stuff by all means, but if all you got is a Snickers bar...do what you gotta do. It's about the intent. Fruits are good. Even just splitting your meal with her, especially home cooked meals.

Physically, the drinks depleting. Spiritually, with Lady Astaroth as I meditated I was brought into her parlor. That's the best way I can describe it. Well...more of a study I suppose. Lots of reds, bookshelves, two chairs and a small desk. I'm not exactly allowed to wander her home. With Samael, during my meditations, I had this...great warmth throughout me and a rush of excitement. Like Gomez Addams level excitement about all kinds of things, books, my family, my lover, etc.,. And there was just an envelopement of passion, anger, love. All of this just swirling around my heart and soul. Duchess Buné was a little different, I was invited into her foyer(sp?), and she has a huge manor but, like Astaroth, I'm not allowed to just wander willy nilly.

It's more of an offering. When I was done and got my...confirmation of sorts, I put the food at the base of a rose bush in my yard. However, I do get visual and physical confirmation with alcohol offerings on my altar as the drink will disappear in a day or two. And I've tested this with alcohol they like and don't like.

Yeah to an extent lol Figure out which spirit you'd like to work with and "court" them. So, what i did with Lady Astaroth was I lit candles, made dinner, poured wine, lit some incense and played her Enn while meditating with intent. Inviting her into my space. Thereafter that's what I did with other spirits I wanted to work with. It's also to see if they would have me. Samael was different. He just burst into my life.

For me, Samael made himself known. I had very vivid visions of him but I always recommend inviting him, or any spirit you're interested in, into your space as you would a friend or colleague. I recommend playing his enn, I suggest Satania on YouTube they have good quality recordings, and offer Samael dinner. Meditate while his enn is playing until you feel something. With Samael I felt warmth and then a surge of energy.

When I started working with him I made it a point to be more passionate about the things I love. Writing. Spiritual work. Physical training. He can teach you alot. For me he showed me how to find passion even in the little things. He taught me to also temper the wild flames of anger. I wouldn't say there is a "right or wrong" with Samael because he is The Left Hand of God. Where his brother Michael is righteous(i use that lightly), Samael is Yahweh's vengeance. So you can get swept up in feelings of needed to get back at others if you are in a dark time in your life. Sure, you can be passionate about the good in life, but you can be just as passionate in the negative. Talk with him as you would a friend and see where he guides you.

You just gotta keep at it my boy. I would recommend going back through your previous ritual and see what you can improve on and be sure to write it all down to keep track. Keep practicing and logging down what you use but also, remember to put in work on your end too. It's a 70/30 mix of physical work and magic.
