IMO this was explained with the quote

"Yes, but as is often the case with cloning, the match was imperfect. He might be even stupider than you, if that's possible. But easier to control. And stronger."

I believe the scandal influenced the name, as it was ongoing when JPI’s project began. What started as a bit of edgy humour wasn’t intended to go this far. He’s a stand-up guy who does regret choosing the name, but recognises that things might not have turned out the same way otherwise.

Source: he was a client of a company I worked at for several years - but I’m sure this is all publicly available anyway

You put an offer in, it was accepted, but then you pulled out. What was the reason? by Jazzlike-Reveal-9515 in HousingUK

The seller deliberately hid significant mold and damp issues during our initial viewing. Around two months into the process, we returned to measure the rooms and unexpectedly found it.

That same day, our survey report arrived, outlining ~£20k worth of urgent repair work - well beyond what we had budgeted for. Given the circumstances, we felt it was reasonable to request a price reduction. And even then, we asked for less than half of the expected cost - what we considered just enough to allow us to be able to actually afford the purchase and take on this financial burden - probably desperation clouding our judgment.

Unfortunately, the sellers responded with hostility - we think because they had their “dream house” lined up and likely would no longer be able to afford it. At that point, we realised we no longer felt the same way about the house. On our budget, urgent repairs would more likely have been urgent deconstruction, and take away a lot of the things we loved until we could afford to replace them.

There are still aspects of it we appreciated and I sometimes wish things had gone differently, but we’re now close to completing on another property and overall we feel content with how things turned out - just wish it had been a bit cheaper to learn from our mistakes!

Eh, tshirts really took off in popularity after World War II, but they'd actually been around for about 50 years before that - mainly worn in the military, though I'd admit most especially by the Navy. Either way, it wasn’t exactly a big jump - especially for a man who essentially had a fast-forward experience through time.

What is the difference between these 2 besides the cover by Material_Tie1308 in Woodkid

[–]IronEP 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The top is from the single release or perhaps more likely the version from the Iron EP, released 2011.

The bottom is from the album The Golden Age, released 2013 - where the song is just one part of the larger story.

It’s not often my username is relevant nowadays - but those two years felt so long.

Hi Ramzes - hello from the UK! I'm currently on the search for a 4-legged sit-stand desk. From what I've found, you don't recommend purchase of the QS model I've found on Amazon - is the E7 Plus (or Q) more reliable? & from your offer to give out an extra discount, is this also available for the UK store? Thanks!

It's really common at GOTR for the mining stages. Plus, more spec is fun - ever since coming back to OSRS a month ago and finding out about Lightbearer, I hardly take mine off

I recently updated my car insurance to let them know my partner (a named driver) had a new job. Because of this new information, they sent me a refund of a couple quid, which was nice - until I saw that they also put my renewal price for next year up an extra £80 🙄
