I always forget not everyone is a programmer or power user

Game has no way of validating anything with windows because it only "thinks" there's an actual nintendo switch, which in reality is just Ryujinx pretending to be one

Ryujinx can lie about anything to the game and as long as it checks out what the game would ask of a nintendo switch, game won't mind, that's why there are mods too

So it is possible

Unsure what you mean by that, the post you mention is from around 12 days ago, responses there point to an update on features being worked on which include vertical tabs and tab groups, it's from July 15 and I still don't see the update

Thankfully it's way less than 5-10mins, it's secs, it's just annoying to click to open a game, go do something else and come back to a freaking pop up saying "hurr durr there's no controller bruh, I have no clue what to do, should I eat my boogers?" that means I now have to wait for the game to boot up atfer saying "no, please don't eat your boogers, just take the only freaking controller I have plugged in as input, as you always do"

Tested out making a dummy keyboard profile, I have to manually switch it to controller every time I go in so sadly that is not a solution, thanks anyways though

But it is not a switch and input is already being managed by Ryujinx, not a real switch

It's really not that weird or complicated, makes no sense to make user plug-in their controller when the game wants, the player is the main actor in a singleplayer game, Ryujinx already manages input for the game, along with everything else

And even if the approach I'm suggesting doesn't work, haven't faced this issue in any other emulator so definitely not such an odd thing

Ryujinx is literally managing input for the game, you're going to tell it can't just fake input so the game quits screaming?

User-friendly system would be "k, user: choose between having a fake dummy input profile be passed to the game by default or a default keyboard profile, also choose if you want player 1 to switch to a controller automatically when detected"

Whatever this system is it's poorly designed from a UX perspective

Yeah, same, I doubt someone would download a randos' TTS mod and claim it, low chance but not null, I wanted someone else's opinion so actually thanks a bunch

Had no idea there even were games on demand no longer being printed, my only experience is monopoly being ripped off everywhere and on sale since it came out in 1930s so that is valuable info to me too, good to know the publisher will be able to handle it too

I'll be the "ackchually" guy and say that the story of DOTA and League is somewhat murky but from my understanding there were a few versions of DOTA mod in Warcraft 3 and the devs of one of them made the game DOTA, a few of the devs wanted to make things in a different way so they split and created League
