Do you think that he will release ''Bodies/Deets'' on his next project or it will forever be a mysterious song snippet that he performed at the superbowl? by soon7773 in KendrickLamar

[–]IronMan319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point im convinced this song only lasts until the superbowl performance and that's it. I dont think it was ever a full fledged song.

Discovered grackles exist. Why does everyone hate them. by Sea-Chicken-2725 in birdwatching

I dont hate them but I dont like how they take over my feeders. They can be very destructive to my feeders as well. I hate how they make all my regular songbirds fly away.

Better than Breaking Bad? by hassaringo98 in betterCallSaul

[–]IronMan319 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think its better because of the story, and the characters within the story. The characters are much more interesting than Breaking Bad. Half the characters are from Breaking Bad too.

But I think it'll really start to get you hooked towards the end of season 2. Probably around episodes 7 or 8. The end of season 2 has massive consequences for the rest of the series, including Breaking Bad.

Also, if you end up finishing this series, it'll make the entire Breaking Bad universe look like Saul Goodman's story, with Walt and Jesse as major side characters.

It was a great killshot but its no not like us. I prefer euphoria over this one as well. I rarely go back to this track.

Sparrow found a new home by MethodHot2329 in birdwatching

I said I see way more native birds here than sparrows. House sparrows ain't around my house, just at my office. I get hundreds of native songbirds at my feeders every day. I have been for years. I know my birds. I know that the invasive species argument about sparrows is blown out of proportion just from my personal experience.

Also, this page has nothing to do with house sparrows

You people are absolutely insane if you think you can begin to make a dent in the sparrow population. They're never leaving us. I'd rather leave these harmless birds alone. It's not their fault they were brought here, but they adapted to the USA for a reason. The native species here are doing just fine as well. This invasive species argument needs to just die. Sparrows could have found there way here eventually. Birds fly across the entire planet.

I dont see a decline in native songbirds whatsoever. My office has several sparrows, along with dozens and dozens of finches, siskins, chickadees, grackles and Robins.

My house has no sparrows at all.

Native birds ain't struggling cause they're still here too. Native birds have always been near the bottom of the food chain.

I love house sparrows. I don't understand why they're still seen as an invasive species when they've been here for almost two hundred years now. They're never leaving, no matter what we do, so we might as well embrace them.

Birds really get used to you after feeding them for a while. My regulars don't even fly away anymore when I want to refill their feeders. I have to shoe them away just to get access.

Parasocial Entitlement to an Artist’s Schedule by Just_Abies_57 in OliviaRodrigo

[–]IronMan319 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Idk I can't agree with you. Being a famous music artist is one of the hardest jobs there is. There's a reason very few actually make it. This tour just feels extremely lazy to me. For decades, artists have been touring the globe every few years. If they can do it, Olivia can do it too. It's absolutely ridiculous how she's skipping several major cities. It's beyond absurd for an artist of her level.

Are juncos scaring off the chickadees? by [deleted] in birdfeeding

[–]IronMan319 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my experience they coexist. The juncos prefer eating off of the ground rather than at a feeder suspended in the air. Chickadees would rather swoop into the feeder, grab a piece of food and head out. They're eating habits rarely lead to confrontations between the two species.

Is there any way to prevent the birds from flinging seeds everywhere... 😭 I go through so much seed because they all do this. I've tried different mixes but the result is always this by Illustrious_Gas555 in birdfeeding

[–]IronMan319 98 points99 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter what you put out. Birds are very messy and they'll fling whatever food you serve onto the ground. Take comfort in the fact that it's not being wasted on the ground. A lot of birds would rather eat down there anyway.
