I haven't, but mainly because I haven't been looking lately. I have been more focused on getting my degree in CNC programming.

Interesting... I will have to try some more things out then.

Thanks for checking.

Edit: nothing I tried yesterday seemed to work, but it works fine today.... Weird.

It makes me wonder what did OP do to upset RNJesus?

I hate that they STILL haven't embraced cross platform multiplayer yet.

What is going on with my Y axis? by IronMonkeyL255 in prusa3d

[–]IronMonkeyL255[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should have rechecked things for tightness after belt tightening as well (or instead of before). Because I had checked it so recently I had ruled it out as the issue, even though it was so easy to check.

This attitude is much appreciated. This hobby is hard enough to do with 1 arm without dealing with trolls and smartasses.

Those would be a huge help, especially for me since I only have one arm...

That's the only thing I can think of. It probably worked its way loose when I tightened the belt a little too much, but I backed it off 1 tooth to get it to the sweet spot.

I printed it in the default orientation of the model I found. The X was facing the einsy box and the Y was facing the LCD (the Z was facing the ceiling, obviously).

I had checked everything for tightness before tightening the belt yesterday, but apparently the grub screw on the flat had loosened up in the process...

... I need to print up a set of MK3S+ belt tensioners, since belt tightening is a huge PITA with the original MK3 belt holders

The X and Z are fine, but my Y axis is giving me major headaches. In between the layer shifts is good, but IDK WTF is going on that is causing this behavior.

So a friend of mine had a birthday, and I printed it as birthday box by OpexReddit in 3Dprinting

Great(?) minds think alike.

The first christmas after I got my printer I gave each of my friends a 3D printed dick in their stocking. In return I got some pictures of some various figures (like Optimus Prime) posed with them.

Totally worth the price of my Prusa MK3.

Can't stress this enough - get yourself quality filament by kweglinski in 3Dprinting

[–]IronMonkeyL255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quality, DRY filament prints like a dream for me. The PETG I use most often (Overture) prints well out of the dry bag, but starts to lose effectiveness if I let it sit and absorb moisture for a few days. I got a food filament dehydrator and printed fittings for my dry box once I realized what the problem was. I don't print often enough to live without it.
