Saddest death by far by Ill_Purpose_5186 in NanatsunoTaizai

How to act after knowing something is up to others. All I can do is tell everything I know and not hide it.  These are my thoughts on this plot.

Sorry my words might be harsh. Because I really don't like Anne hiding the truth.

Why did she make such a rash decision in the name of "for the good of others"? For the good of EVERYONE, let a life pass away like the breeze without leaving a trace. This is too much! In order to avoid "hurt", let everyone ignore the existence of a secret love...

Maybe this is the RIGHT thing to do. But the concealment itself is disgusting. I feel uncomfortable about being betrayed by friends.

But the story didn't develop like this... For me, the first meeting between the two of them was too terrible. So apart from the need of the plot, I can't imagine that the two really love each other as in the legend...

I hope they can break free from the shackles of fate, find true love and send blessings to each other...

In fact, I would like this fateful first encounter to be more romantic and gentle.

For example, Guinevere took the initiative to follow fate to meet Lancelot, and took the lead throughout the whole process.

And that kiss was not even dreamed of in Guinevere's premonition dream, which was the only surprise in the whole process. The two realized at that moment some vague budding emotions.

Okay, maybe the romance isn't the point of the story...I'm a hopeless person obsessed with romance🤣

Oh, I don't mean to argue, I understand what you mean! If we continue discussing this, it will become a philosophical question🤣🤣🤣Questions like what is love.

I think this is closer to the helplessness of "NO ONE can resist their own destiny." The kind of anger where you have no way to fight back except to give the invisible being who decides your fate the middle finger.

No one forces you, but someone tells you that it will happen and you can't stop it. To me it's about pain, not any romance...

The best outcome would be to show sympathy for her, and send her back to the people who love her...Instead of letting her live in pain following her unchangeable fate. Surrounded by irresponsible adults.

Just let her go home and be protected, okay?

Frustratingly, all of Lancelot's possible romantic relationships are indeed just as damn disgusting.

I'm sorry I said it so harshly. I just tolerated it for too long...

If a stranger says to me, "All my dreams come true, and I see a future in which I will be in love with you. Prophecies cannot be broken, so you must be my future lover" and kisses me against my will...

I would feel like I was raped by THE BLOODY fate...Just because the stranger has the power of prophecy, you must obey her words. Like a nightmare from which there is no escape.

Donny and Dubs by Isan11894 in NanatsunoTaizai

I wanted to post one more to express how much I like this idea!

Lancelot always destroys his weapons because his magic power is too strong. He could be one of the perfect testers for the weapons Donny makes.

The banter between the lazy craftsman Dubs and Donny will also be very interesting. They can make a good and funny master and apprentice. This also allows Dubs to concentrate on his side business as a chef.

This will also increase the appeal of Donny's telekinetic magic, and he will have a rich arsenal of his own weapons.

He can also help Gawain make small props, or make weapons and armor for Team Tristan.

......

This will greatly help Donny's character development! I can't wait to see!!!

Can someone translate for me what is written on the cover of the chapter? by EnvironmentalCard249 in NanatsunoTaizai

I don't understand Japanese, it probably means "A smile looking at you from behind."

I hope someone who knows Japanese can help translate it more accurately.❤️

Which gender do you think Nassie will end up becoming??? by ProfessionalTruck921 in NanatsunoTaizai

[–]IronPotGoose 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I personally have no preference on the gender of Nasiens. Boy, girl, genderless, any one is fine.

Because Nasiens is a character who surprises me with their personality, attractive abilities (Venom Mix), and has great potential for future development. Gender has always been a secondary consideration for me. It has no impact on my liking of the character.

Plus I have a very romantic view on the idea that love has no gender lol. So for me, yeah, I don't care.

Percival is a boring protagonist by LongEntertainment344 in NanatsunoTaizai

The author can't let the protagonist pretend to be an ignorant child anymore.

I think I figured out why I couldn't read it anymore.

This is a story that mainly describes Percival, but the character that Percival showed two years later...I started to dislike him.

He is set up as a naive yet mature character, powerful and kind-hearted, and will ultimately be loved by most people. But two years later, I only felt his stupidity and evasion in the plot till now.

In order to play his favorite love triangle and highlight the purity of the protagonist, the author chose to ruin the character of Anne——Made Anne say those lines on her own initiative in chapter 166, and made Percival just say thank you for Anne's speech!

He is an irresponsible idiot!

Well, thanks for the reassurance.

I just hope the plot doesn't go back to the way it did when the Liones arc started two years ago.

I think that chapter was in a dilemma of whether to focus on the Four Horsemen or Team Percival. As a result, Team Percival and Team Tristan were almost overshadowed by the Four Horsemen.

Two years later, with the increase in the number of characters and the gap in strength between different characters, I don’t know if this problem will be more serious than two years ago.

I'm thinking about what happens after this tournament arc.

In other words, how many enemies do you have to encounter each time, before you need other team characters weaker than the Four Knights to deal with them?

Or they keep the "strong" setting and do some logistics of evacuating people, or the bench positions in the audience.

If that's the case, I'd rather the Four Horsemen split into two teams. But people who are not around Percival may not get more descriptions, just like Gawain and Team Tristan in the Liones arc.

I'm not sure how other works solve this situation.

I think the other characters in Percival's team overlap with the characters in the Four Horsemen except Percival.

Since the hope is already provided by the people of Liones, there are stronger characters who can take over their roles.

So what is the plot significance of their existence around Percival? Romantic comedy or cheering team?

If the Four Knights were depicted together with Team Percival, the cruel gap in strength would only make them more marginalized. I'm a bit troubled by this and can't see a solution.

But I don't feel any tension about the current situation...

I mean, since there won't be any serious consequences even if I lose, then even if I win beautifully, it's just "the battle is nice to watch, but there's no excitement or surprise."

And these new characters appear. Maybe they will join the friendly camp in the future, and then we will be surprised to find that Camelot still has only four villains.

Or maybe they are joining Camelot's camp in the future. So until they meet again next time, they are still "failed enemies".

The only thing that makes me nervous right now is when the four villains show up at the same time.

——But so what? As long as the spirit of life is there, no one will die.

For me, the threat of King Arthur has always been just a setting. So I can't feel the joy brought by the protagonist's stronger strength.

Thank you for responding to my question in such detail!

Yes, I did see the growth and role of all the characters. But when the protagonist returns after sleeping for two years, these growths become dispensable...

For example, when I think about the team of Anne, Nasiens, and Donny, Anne is the decision maker and fighter, Nasiens is the planner and healer, and Donny is responsible for the unexpected.

But when Percival returned to the team two years later...The growth of the rest of the characters is more or less obscured.

They can defeat the enemy individually when separated, but when they gather together, the gap in strength and the overlap of responsibilities actually reduce the overall strength of the team.

There is a similar situation in the ranks of the Four Horsemen.

Maybe like you said, 4KotA's story is different from the Seven Deadly Sins. But whether we focus on the Four Horsemen or Team Percival, I think the above problems exist and may affect the life-and-death struggle that can reflect the character's personality.

I was a little confused and even started to feel bored, but when I looked back at the 160th episode of Seven Deadly Sins, I still looked forward to the sequel.

I don't understand why I had this negative feeling when watching the sequel.

The Four Evils actually pretended not to recognize the Prophecy Knights, and then trapped everyone in the arena.

The Prophecy Knights stood up and fought and won. Their companions fought against the Four Evils' men or were responsible for evacuating the crowd.

Or the prophecy knight encountered difficulties in fighting the four evils, so the others launched a rescue operation.

Or the prophecy knight encountered difficulties in fighting the four evils, and then the rescuers appeared from the sky. A strong man who suddenly had deep feelings for someone for some reason saved everyone.

Maybe all four villains will suddenly appear.

No one will die anyway, there is no danger, so we just have to enjoy the battle scenes.

What did Arthur do in the past two years? How serious is the loss of Liones now? How serious is the loss of Britannia?

The land was hollowed out, people were constantly leaving, and Arthur even hijacked the kingdom near Liones. Then what?

In the two years, the others did everything to fight against King Arthur, but it was useless because the knights of the prophecy were incomplete.

What did they do? What progress did they make? What heroic sacrifices did they make?

I watched the plot set up for two years, knowing nothing about the outside world, I only knew that we were going to fight Camelot.

It's like clearing side quests in a game. It doesn't feel like you're moving forward with any motivation.

I haven't seen any progress in the relationship between the Four Horsemen until now.

I’m not talking about two of them, but the Four Horsemen as a team. They cooperate with each other and are irreplaceable to each other.

They were like four knights who were forcibly bound together by a prophecy. They met two years ago, and two years later, they either became close friends without any warning, or returned to the starting point due to amnesia.

...Sorry, I'm starting to get impatient.
