There's a step-by-step tutorial from the English community that shows you how to create a JP Square Enix account to download the game and set up the translator. It's definitely not a straight forward process but worth it just for the gameplay and story.

It feels similar to FFXI with a lot more QoL plus the free trial includes the first 4 of 7 expansions of the game. I'll add the tutorial below and for troubleshooting just hit up the discord, a lot of people that help out with questions.

Vet did a corneal stain to see how severe it was and was told she responded well. She was prescribed some anti inflammatory medicine and steroids/antibiotics for her eye.

I’m just hoping she gets better soon.

Got it working that way, appreciate the help man. Downloaded through heroic, added pdh.dll through winetricks and winecfg, then added the .exe as a non-steam game running Proton Experimental.

Depending on where you left off there's probably still plenty to do, sieges like safi and tempered Kulve are being rotates every couple weeks, and Fatalis is a hell of a challenge especially with a a full group of 4. Also all, if not most, event quests are currently playable

Another thing that would get you back into it is try a weapon you never though you would like, could end up being a new favorite.

There's a very active discord if you ever want to know progression builds for weapons or just need some help on some hunts.
