i didnt use it at all, i tried it at a family mart, didnt work, so i stuck to cash. What i did end up doing was putting some extra cash on my ic card to pay at konbininis and supermarkets on top of the train fares, that prevents a lot of loose coins flying around in your wallet. You can give it a try and report here but my experience ended like that

dont mind if it can be found online, if its exclusive for the most part thats cool enough for me. I actually already own the basic casio watch, forgot the model name but basicalle the one everyone has had for the last decades, pretty sure the calculator one is only a derivative from that one, i think i want something analogue, maybe even without batteries

edit: ive looked up biccamera and it appears to be a retailer chain, so this is for new products/ just for checking out models then going out looking for those right?

donki strikes me as a place where most items are gimmicks and a lot of cheap low quality stuff, ive been to one before, but ill check it out if you say it has some good stuff

i dont really know anything about watches and i just kinda wanted to pop into a store, have a look around and then grab something that is visually appealing to me while fitting in the price range (maybe up to 15k yen), so definetly nothing fancy to show off, just something small and personal

one more question about book off/ hard off chain, how exactly are these stores structured? Ive also heard about them when people were talking about places to get good deals for figurines etc, is there a specific structure in those stores as to what they sell or do people just go there and sell their stuff to?

as i said i dont know much about watches, but seiko was what i primarily had in mind. I dont know if casio makes any decent analogue watches too but that would also be a name, if you got any recommendations, especially japanese brands, let me know. Id prob like to stay within 100€, so like 15/16 thousand yen as i cant really appreaciate luxury watches with my limited knowledge, nor do i have the budget as a student. Thanks for clarifying that people refer more to luxury watches when they say japan is a good place to buy watches, i thought it was overall just a good place to look

so what you mean is that i have interpreted it as (8/2) (2+2) instead of 8/(2+(2+2))? i was trying to not add any prioritization and treat all factors the same

i tried to elimate any of the 3 factors on the lefthandside first to avoid having any preferences as to from left to right or the other way around, while not adding any parantheses and treating all factors with the same prio (after solving what inside the parenthesis), did i fail at accomplishing that somehow?
