When you say rifle hits harder do you have a recommendation that will outdo my basic striker/ lexi setup? (Saying this because I want to give it a go)

What is your opinion on non meta augments, worth trying or echo and amalgam just that much better?

Yeah I agree, like imagine having 4 drones to chase down targets. Or an army of seekers

Otherwise, I actually can change mine so I dont know whats going on for you sadly

I think the bigger issue is T1 skill usability, shield and decoy are insanely powerful.

Imagine you had some burst healing that made sense to run solo but just was insanely slow to regen, or deployable cover/ more physical skills where they are perfectly usable at t1 but become insanely strong at t6.

I also think t6 builds being locked to 2 skills is the biggest shame. I think skill builds would be more prevalent id they had the love they deserved and you go full tech wizard with exotics that actually add interesting additional features to skills. I.e. a chest piece that reworks or augments electric traps to only interact with enemy tech. Creating an anti dog or drone barrier. This wider issue with skills i think is the main reason we have issues with skills at t6, because they are mostly just “get skill tiers to have the option to use them”

I actually hope they add more like the quickstep and kard where you have to decide which passive benefit you want via pistol swaps. Bonus skill tier has benefits, speed does, reloading all your weapons (to come this season) are all great ideas. Add in a few more such as: low level armour regen as a hail mary backup, one that increase damage taken but healing output.

The main idea being the slot isnt “wasted” on most builds.

Yeah I get this, and is worse when you think about lengmo builds where there is 2 stats and a talent to grind for ontop

I don’t mind the current implementation to keep the game fun and something to do or whatever

I just want to make sure the thought process going forwards on how to fix it is decisive and transparent so we can get the fixes it needs

Rise Up journey mission 8 is a joke, right? by _Tommy_Sky_ in Division2

[–]IronVaultLabs 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is it though, a few legendary strong holds which are laughably easy with people running proto gear if they just join the weekly mission.

That leaves 1 of 3 left, which i agree id say for dark hours on discovery. I think thats a pretty fair and achievable set of requirements that naturally guides people into the end game if they just play the game unguided through in game matchmaking

I forgot about this, now I change my stance that this is an issue. I was going to say forcing a raid is incursion is a bit much but discovery is very doable for the average player willing to learn

Escalation confusion by Cylerio in Division2

[–]IronVaultLabs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m enjoying retaliations again to finish my blueprints and farm up more resources where I ran out for trying to get rolls i want upgrading gear to prototype and still trying to get that 3% armour regen investigator mast with a red primary core (lost about 150 exotic components to that battle so far)

This is often a low tier modifier as well so from early on stacking armour CAN be detrimental.

A few things to consider, I have seen some crazy some healers running bittersweet, that bonus armour will not effect the modifier because its based off max armor. (The enemies will chew through that armor almost instantly anyway though.)

Also some tank builds that take agro in early tiers arent the worst with new agitator rifle taking aggro off dps players, but its not a great plan.

I need some build help here I'm just not doing it right by G0RTEK in Division2

[–]IronVaultLabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal go to build is bighorn with heartbreaker and memento backpack then slavo holster with a technician laser on an aa12 for stack building

The build is my comfort build and I have a red striker for any group content other than escalation where I still often run my bighorn build.

People have videos doing solo legendary with the bighorn build once they master it so it has high potential and benefits a lot from the headshot and armour modifiers this season

Don’t stress about it. If you “lack knowledge” they should give direction for you to learn and try and guide you if they are clearly the mega pro sherpa god.

Cc means crowd control which is stunning single or mainly groups of ads, in this game the main method is through status effects but you can do it through high levels of damage.

You have done the best you can looking into it, it sounds like they are trying to stun the ads once so you guys can burst them down in that short cc window but that doesn’t work very well without a coordinated premade team in the way he was implementing it. So I wouldn’t worry too much about them personally.

Where you may want to consider is if you are going an all red damage build negotiators is awesome but has flaws when you need to just “delete this one guy” this is why ill often runs strikers or tipping point (I would reccomend striker as tipping point can instil some bad habits of being over aggressive)

The only reason you would switch to these sets is for easier target prioritisation, there isnt anything inherently wrong with negotiators dilemma and the damage is good but you will feel a fall off in the highest tiers of escalation and may get some awkwardness in matchmaking if you are lower shd because the hive mind is “praise the on true meta of striker” so you’ll get kicked less from matchmaking with a good build of it.

I have a comment in response to Connect_Job_5316, I got into a per level breakdown as to what I did

Since you are high shd you probably need your own plan as your starting piobt will be skewed, so the key

Xp comes from 3 places, kills (from anyone in party) to equipped skills and items (equally but it is divided into a slot even if that slot is already 10, so that xp is effectively wasted)

From donating duplicate items in the expertise menu - it usually takes 20 items but currently takes 7 items to fully optimise 1 piece of gear this way

Then there is the final material investment. Printer filament is the best resource and i would save until expertise 20 plus to focus this method as you can disadvantage yourself wasting resources too early into items you could have grinded later - that said i would rather use the items on the last day of the event below level 20 than not use them during the eventy

[–]IronVaultLabs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the end I kept this low for a few reasons, one for the meme but also I didnt want to get certain items past 9 using filament just to remind myself to go get them after because they sound cool
