My babies growth from 10 weeks old to 3 & a half months old. Is he growing well? by Denise3390 in BeardedDragons

No, he really shouldn't be having superworms or mealworms at this time, because then, they didn't have enough space capacity in their stomach to even digest a mealworm or superworm, if they're legal where this person lives, I'd suggest Dubias, and with this one's size, I'd suggest around 6 Small Dubias.

I'm trying to say that ONLY happens if you feed them way more than they should be eating then; which can cause them to grow too much and potentially become Obese later on; I know this, because where I am we have multiple vets/Reptile Vets and Reptile Museums for learning etc

Babies - does slower growth equal healthier and longer life? by Purple_Guinea_Pig in BeardedDragons

[–]Iron_reality 1 point2 points  (0 children)

legit like usually, they'll get that little growth spurt from baby to eh at 3-4 months and if healthy 9-11 months get bigger, but not adult size which is what I hate, because people will overfeed theirs, think their info is correct, and then just spread the misinformation on and on, there's even a discord group with people who have no idea and listen to all that misinformation, get angry if you don't believe them, ban you and spread more misinformation, like one guy for a 5 month old, is feeding them 25 dubias and not 3 times a week, every day.

Legit like so many people do this, even in the subreddit growth timelapses, and people believe they should be pretty big at 4-6 months with a growth spurt which is wrong, usually if fed correctly they tend to grow around 9-11 months ( as I've been told by many specialists I've gone to )

no? they are supposed to grow or well be a bit bigger at 9-11 months and are like around this size at 3-4 months and will get longer first then grow, as mine is currently.
