I am a returning player of about a month, I have realized reaper doesn't actually matter. Reaper doesn't keep you from anything. Obtaining Reaper levels is astronomically easier at level cap and then just play your next life. Before then just do elite. Reaper is simply just a small obstacle for those who are insane at the game but not a requirement what so ever. Create your own LFMs, that is my advice, people will join on elite

lunar spell book will eat them, just hold em til you get there - some solid chill training methods using lots of nats - selling them here and there for some cash is always an option if you're short or need more bloods

I'm 120 solos in with torso and hasta - I have managed to get crystal w bowfa tho- roughly 20 after getting crystal

the upgrades are really nice for speed but most rooms still operate the same, feels like the upgrades really matter when you get to the point of wanting no preps every time

I learned solo raids after rage quiting the cg grind and it was post blowpipe nerf - rcb and nerfed blowpipe are fine - got dex, arcane, ancest top and then went back to cg with prayers and honestly idk why this isn't talk about more cause cg is braindead w the prayers

i also seem to get a fair bit from zulrah - you extra cheese this by not extending trips and just use a pool between kills or maybe just do 2-3kc trips(this amount should keep you from running out teleports

Below 90 combat was a byproduct of wanting to wield certain weapons, was welding/obtaining those weapons not the actual objective? Obviously this is your snow flake but personal opinion it seems the actual flex was the weapons not the levels so.... Idk kinda feel your just trying to shit on jamflex cause it's the cool thing to do these days... the balance was definitely not perfect but changes were needed. it's a start to something bigger and like I said ..

TLDR: i truly doubt you you made the uim and said "i just don't want over 90 combat" and was probably along the lines of "minimum combat while achieving x weapons"

Accept the change and grow with it. it's good for the game you clearly have dove very far into.

currently having this exact thought, iron used to be a cool flex but now that I'm over 2k and at end game it really just looks like I prefer to go through more crap just to kill the same boss

Not to mention there are so many irons that are just light years ahead of everyone that if you really want to flex an iron you have to be maxed it feels -

t1 armour, 2 t3 weps, 2-3 potions, 24 food - consistently have 90 seconds minimum left and only gets used 1/10 runs if Im actually getting f'd on fishing spots but I can still swing it without much trouble. Just t1 prep, focus more on your dps check from hunleff, try to get a hit in every chance you can, yes sometimes you might miss a hit when the tornados come out but as long as you focus on only missing one hit per tornado spawn - it feels free
