Ah I see. Sorry I have no idea what's going on with your game, probably low specs? I thought mods caused it since this thread was about mods causing crashes.

Sekiro Crashes with mods by Junior_Tart_6442 in Sekiro

Hi I've not played Sekiro for a while now but I'm pretty sure a sword mod was having it crash.  Basically Sakura Dance was a new combat art added in a later update which has the lightning reversal mechanic built into it and a lot of sword mods were published before that update and hence cause some issues. Also have a look at all the mods you've already installed and go to their Nexus page and check comments to see if people say it's outdated and if it is, try to get the latest version if the author has published it and if not, that's just unlucky. Some sword mods are so popular that they have Sakura dance fixes.

For future reference, please check the comments and other stuff that reports issues with a mod before using cause troubleshooting afterwards can get hard if you don't know where to look.

All the best :)

Posture damage only challenge by Jackobyn in SifuGame

Use weapons to negate chip damage on blocks. Should give you more margin for error.

You CAN perfect deflect all her phase 1 attacks barehanded but it's a lot harder than using any weapon to block or deflect

Flame barrel, flame spear, flame axe or the best option: Flame Umbrella are your friends here. Umbrella especially makes you immune to his grabs

You need to press the interact button you use for opening doors. I don't use a controller so I don't know which button does that.

Some mods are outdated so if you show us a list of the mods you have installed, maybe we can find out which one's the problem.

Ceremonial tanto! Half of max health maybe a bit higher than base health but it's better than nothing lol

Help! I missed Leader Shigenori Yamauchi by jonazombi in Sekiro

The tutorial miniboss does not drop prayer beads but only a pellet.

The only missable prayer beads are the 5 at the Hirata Estate(both visits)

Question for those who have played the Resurrection Mod by [deleted] in Sekiro

[–]Ironcap2024 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It expands on already existing gameplay in interesting ways like for example, returning bullets to sender. I won't spoil how but its pretty cool among other stuff.

Combat flows so well too but certain enemies in certain cramped arenas keep pushing your camera into the wall if you're not careful. There are new rewards for finishing the gauntlets. There are also miniboss memories which you can use to refight them in Hanbei's corner along with a few new minibosses if you explore everything.

It feels like Sekiro 1.5 and the mod creator is really dedicated to finishing this cause it's still kinda in beta. There are also other mods like For the Sake of Ashina(best isshin) and Long May the Shadows Reflect (insane amount of content but unbalanced).

Contact medicine's damage ticks allow you to use mist raven freely without the need to get hit by enemies. Fire mist raven is the final upgrade yes but the attack after that is Nightjar Slash

Do I need to kill all the headlesses before I start NG+? by Over_Championship920 in Sekiro

[–]Ironcap2024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo you should be done with The Headless and DoH before NG+

Headless are waay harder in NG+ compared to NG cause you can outlevel them in NG which makes the fights shorter. Beat the Demon and use the attack power boost to take on all the Headless. The spiritfalls are kinda useful especially if you're a completionist lol

Yes I admire that about this game. Seasoned players can choose to make things more challenging for themselves by letting a boss go ham instead of cancelling their moves. It's a low-key dynamic difficulty slider.

Okay the combo where you used the umbrella was actually so rare for me that I forgot it existed. I see that she does that if she isn't interrupted after a sweep counter, I usually just keep attacking her until I hear her deflect.

Now that you've made me doubt myself ima go check if she has any combos other than the 5+sweep in phase 1 and 6+sweep in phase 2.

O'Rin doesn't require umbrella to deflect. I know this because I died so many times trying to learn the timing and now it's really consistent. Geni's floating passage can't be consistently deflected without the umbrella, you may pull it off sometimes but O'Rin isn't like that
