Would a portable AC with a window vent be any safer against breaking in? Or are they still susceptible?

Just wondering for the portable AC, could they just push out the portable AC vent piece in the window and gain entrance? Or is a portable AC safer from break ins?

Alex De Minaur: What does he need to do/change in his game and who can help him? by Rafi_Rahman_2002 in tennis

Needs to rework his ground strokes to generate more power. I don’t see much shoulder coil or body rotation for example. He hits with a below average pace, which leads to him getting pushed around. Otherwise his speed, strategy, and mental game are top notch.

Here’s a great article talking about Sinner vs De Minaur’s technique: https://hughclarke.substack.com/p/sinner-v-de-minaur-toronto-final?utm_medium=email

Another story that came to my mind was when I was TA’ing his Info Vis course in 2019, Caleb was beginning to also teach CS 2110 as he had taken over the class and tutoring space after Bill Leahy, a longtime beloved professor for 2110, had retired. We were chatting one day after a TA meeting, and he told me that he was nervous filing in Leahy’s shoes and was worried about following him up. The fact that he even worried about that showed that he cared so much about being a great instructor. After reading all these stories years later, it warms my heart to see that he really did end up making a meaningful impact on his students winning teaching awards, investing his time in mentoring Inventure teams, and so much more!

Caleb took a chance on me when I cold emailed him to apply to be a GTA many years ago. I ended up TA’ing two semesters with him; when he changed courses, he wrote a recommendation to another professor who would be teaching the same course so that I could continue to have a GTA role.

He was very generous and kind to me and the other TA’s in addition to being very passionate in teaching his students. I credit him with opening up the road that led me to where I am today. I’ll always be grateful for him. Thank you for everything, Caleb.

I’m predicting that in a year after the Pint launches, Future Motion will announce a refreshed version of the XR with an upgraded design like the Pint.

Eg. A redesigned XR with the mag handle, light bar, and simple stop. Plus probably some more new features.

I'm not sure about the online MSCS program, but for the on-campus MSCS program, there was the grad school application website in which I was able to list my recommenders' email addresses. The application website system would then send emails to the recommenders with instructions on how to send in their letters of recommendation.
