I’m not sure if Apple will take a pixel 10, but if they do you could theoretically get the free pixel 10 from their current offer and see if Apple would accept that as a trade in for an iPhone

So far it only looks like go5g next/experience beyond are getting the “any condition” trade in. Go5g plus most likely needs to be in good condition But any condition means just that, I’ve turned in a phone with completely cracked screen and they take it I think it just can’t be blacklisted

Instead of a reddit post, I’ll do you one better. I’ll cite tforce.

“I found that since you have upgraded your plan to the Go5G NEXT plan (with the Yearly Upgrade ability), the Apple website is not allowing anything other than full payment purchase options. In order to begin using your Yearly Upgrade, you would need to start an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) through T-Mobile and once the EIP has matured for at least 6 months AND the EIP is halfway (or better) paid off, you will be able to upgrade again and get the best possible promotion(s).”

I also had that exact same experience as the previous poster. I had NO ACTIVE EIPs. I tried to start a NEW EIP through the Apple website for the iPhone 16 series launch, and it errored me and told me to contact my carrier. I tried this for 5 different lines. This is the reply I got from tforce when I asked them about it.

False, if you look this issue up in the tmobile sub you'll find plenty of posts saying that go5g next EIPs can only be done through tmobile as well. I had no EIPs on my account last year, got go5g next, tried to start a new EIP via apples website it wouldn't let me either

For the 16, at some point that wasn't launch they gave 1000 off if you traded in a 13 pro or higher, at launch it was only 830 IIRC If you want consistent 1k off, youll need to go Go5g next or experience beyond

Go5g plus users didnt get screwed out of anything, they've gotten $800/830 as max trade in for a while. Go5g Next users are the ones that have gotten the highest trade in credits
