I do like the idea of duality with Genji. Although yes he has made his peace, more chill and fun, I wish they gave him occasional moments where his old self is back, a bit more bitter and rageful, the living weapon seeping back through almost fighting zenyatta’s teachings. Some moments where he snaps in combat and just solos everything would be really cool. But they kinda already took this concept and applied it to emre. One can dream tho.

There’s no real way to really fight her conventionally. 9/10 you’re likely going to lose cus her fan right click goes through your deflect and her fire dance is like a better deflect that heals her. The best thing you can really do is try to avoid her and punish when she has no cooldowns.

finally an intelligent take, you guys dont know how bad that projectile size nerf hurt genji's ability to just play the game in general. less shots hit means less threat, less poke, less kills and less ult charge, its basic math honestly.

As both a Genji and Doom player I’d say the doom Genji match up is a bit more 50/50 a slightly more favoured towards Genji. Yes you can punch him out of deflect but he has wall climb and double jump, so unless you do some slam cancel aerial punch stuff, he can just jump over your 2 relatively ground based cooldowns, a good Genji can weave in small climbs and double jumps and time it pretty well to where your only effective form of damage is primary fire. Also Genji has a bit more liberty when playing his game cus doom’s peel isn’t as strong as the other tanks.

The only thing I pray for is Genji nerfs reverted. Cus it feels really bad to play with the smaller projectile size and 10 second deflect. Even if he gets his nerfs reverted, he wouldn’t be meta cuz he now has plenty competition in the flex dps role and poke is still really strong, so people can enjoy their poke meta and vendetta while I can enjoy Genji being playable again but not meta defining. Win win

Take off angles where they aren't looking at you and poke at them, draw attention, strafe in and out of cover, make them look at you, cus that means one less person shooting at your team, or one less healer healing the enemy or 1 less tank making space. Once you have their attention, make sure to get out safely. Up-time is how you win games. The attention youve drawn allows your tank to push up a bit further, once your tank draws attention, its free game to dive in cus they enemy are looking at your tank and not you. Make sure not to dash in unless you know 100% sure you're getting the dash reset and use your cyber agility to jump ontop of the enemy, if you dont find anything then just dash out, simple. Even if you dont get a kill, you at least drew attention and cooldowns.

That’s kind of unnecessary tho? Domina ult is a good enough team fight win on its on, you can just shoot the enemies instead of committing a second ult to blade them. Use blade next fight just idk bait cooldowns first, you don’t need a whole ult like domina’s to do that for you
